Supercomputer means it performs at highest operational rate for computers. It is so expensive & operates at very fast speed. Supercomputer is actually multiple computers that perform parallel processing. There are two types of parallel processing 1st is SMP (symmetric multiprocessing) & 2nd is MPP (Massively parallel processing).
